About the speaker
Interactive Designer from Tenerife, currently based in Barcelona and working globally. She is an Independent Interactive Designer, but also Jury Member at Awwwards and Domestika’s teacher. With a background in graphic design, she is passionate about typography, motion, and web-based animations. She’s specialized in translating brands into unique and immersive digital user experiences. Eva has collaborated with talented freelancers, studios, and agencies to craft meaningful digital experiences for international brands such as Meta, Vibia, Adidas, and more.

The rise of communities in the age of AI
What’s happening beyond AI? In an era marked by detoxing from dopamine, the loss of third spaces, information overload and polycrises, the need to build communities outside of screens is growing more than ever.
Will we craft these experiences to strengthen our connections with each other and our surroundings? Or will we persist in the habits we have established with screens? This talk reflects on how the increasing use of AI and other technologies is affecting our behaviours and what we, as designers, can do about it.
