Keene Niemack
/ Times Two
Founding Partner and Creative Director
About the speaker
Keene is the Founding Partner and second half of the collaborative design practice, Times Two. Having lived and worked in San Francisco, CA for the last decade, his work has evolved with the fast paced technology landscape from traditional branding to becoming a multidisciplinary creative with an emphasis on the ever-blurry relationship between brand and digital ecosystems.
As a Creative Director at the junction of various disciplines, he has had the privilege of working with some of the most admired global brands including Nike, Google, Netflix, Reebok, Meta, Twitter, Uber, Fanatics, NBC, and Venmo.
Before founding Times Two, Keene led design initiatives with his co-founding partner Marco at both Twitter and the agency Ueno.
ABOUT THE TALK
The Story Should Reign: How bridging disciplines creates unified experiences.
In our increasingly digital and AI-driven world, our creative advantage lies in the bridging of disciplines and experiences. Our journey from agencies, to in-house, to starting Times Two has exposed us to the chasm of silos and disconnects one could encounter throughout a creative process. We will dive into how we welcome creative tension, celebrate a brand’s ego (while yes, being self-aware), and stay the course for a unified outward expression. After all, the story rules all, but only if we’re all telling the same one.
